More Than Primary Care

ArchWell Health is more than a doctor’s office. It’s a community with a variety of on-site health services for your convenience.

On-site wellness and preventive testing

Routine lab work is available, as needed, so your physician has a full picture of your health. Other on-site health screenings include:

  • Cardiology telehealth appointments
  • Dementia screening (cognitive testing)
  • Depression screening
  • Echocardiograms
  • Fall Risk Assessment
  • Influenza A and B, COVID, and strep tests
  • Neuropathy screenings
  • Non-invasive procedures (like ear cleanings and nail clipping)
  • Retinopathy screenings
  • Routine blood testing including glucose, hemoglobin, A1C, and INR
  • Skin check for cancer
  • Urinary Incontinence Assessment
  • Urine analysis including low enriched uranium, proteinuria, urine specific gravity, glucose, urobilinogen, blood, bilirubin
  • Vaccinations for shingles, flu, tetanus, and pneumonia

Healthcare Specialists

At ArchWell Health, we offer the services of some healthcare specialists on site. Your care team will refer and coordinate appointments with off-site specialists if the need arises.

Registered Dietician Referrals

Registered Dietitians (RDs) are trained to advise on healthy eating and nutrition for overall health and wellness.

Additionally, RDs are legally recognized as nutrition experts who are qualified to provide medical nutrition therapy for the prevention, delay and management of disease.

ArchWell Health RDs are available to:

  • Provide individualized counseling to help with management of digestive disorders, chronic diseases, food allergies, dysphagia, weight/appetite changes, malnutrition risk, and any other nutrition related concerns
  • Host group education sessions and activities tailored to our senior members to offer opportunities to learn more about cooking, reading labels, making healthy choices, nutrition for specific diseases, and more
  • Provide referrals to community-based food and nutrition programs to help individuals stay healthy and independent

Social Work Referrals

  • Advance Directives/ Durable Power of Attorney for healthcare paperwork (medical only)
  • Assess for abuse, neglect, self-neglect, financial exploitation
    Basic needs: housing/relocation, mortgage, rent, food, utility assistance
  • Coping (support groups)
  • Emotional, mental health/behavioral health support
  • Home & Community Based Services (HCBS)/Consumer Directed Services (CDS) medication coverage (assistance with resources for cost)
  • Legal aid
  • Medical equipment/devices (not covered by insurance)
  • Mental health crisis
  • Public assistance eligibility (Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, LIHEAP, and Lifeline)
  • Technology assistance hearing or vision impairments **
  • Veterans benefits
